The Board of Directors comprises: -

Oba Otudeko studied Accountancy at Leeds College of Commerce, Leeds, Yorkshire, United Kingdom. He obtained The Associateship of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) in 1964 and won the following prizes in his professional examinations:

• Mayor of Leeds prize for best final year accountancy student
• Third prize final year accountancy student (year 1 of ACCA final course); and
• London best final student, Chartered Institute of Secretaries.

He holds a Fellowship of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.

Oba Otudeko started his banking career with the Cooperative Bank Limited, Ibadan in 1960. He had a robust 23-year banking experience, rising to become the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Bank before retiring into private life. In private business, Oba Otudeko cut a niche as a foremost entrepreneur and a consummate investor through his participation in the key sectors of the Nigerian business landscape and in corporate governance both in Nigeria and abroad.

He is the Chairman of Honeywell Group, Nigeria. In private business, he has distinguished himself as a foremost entrepreneur and a keen investor through his participation in key sectors of the Nigerian economy and beyond. In recognition of this, he was recently conferred with the National Award of the Order of Federal Republic. He currently chairs the Board of Honeywell Group of Companies (an indigenous Nigerian conglomerate) operating in Oil & Gas, Flour Milling, Engineering, High Sea Trawling, Real Estates and Marine Transportation.

He is also Chairman of the Board of First Trustees Nigeria Limited, Pavilion Technology Limited, Fan Milk of Nigeria Plc and Econet Wireless Nigeria Limited. Besides these, Oba is a Director of First Bank of Nigeria Plc, Guinness Nigeria Plc, Lagos Sheraton Hotel, Nigeria Eagle Flour Mills Ltd, Franco-Nigeria Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Khalil & Dibbo (Haulage) Ltd and British American Tobacco Ltd. He is also Chairman of the Nigeria-South African Chamber of Commerce.

His wide public service includes former Chairmanship of the National Maritime Authority, Central Bank of Nigeria, Member; Constituent Assembly responsible for drafting a new Nigerian Constitution 1988-1989 and Council Member, Manufacturers’ Association of Nigeria (MAN).

Outside Nigeria, he holds directorship positions in private UK companies operating in real estate, finance and international trade.

He has attended seminars and training courses at FITC, Lagos, Barclays Bank London, IMD, Lusannee Switzerland and Harvard Business School, Boston. He is the Chancellor of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Oba’s pet programme is the renewal of the environment through the Heritage Foundation NGO he is nurturing along with leading green enthusiasts like him. He is happily married to Adebisi and has children.

MRS ADEBISI OTUDEKO - Director

She is a professional Manager of many years' standing in para-medic practice. Over the past two decades she has been involved in the Management at Board Level and contributed immensely to the enterprising culture of all the companies in the Honeywell Group.

MR. RICHARD TAYE AYIBIOWU, B.Sc., ACA, ACIT - Director

Richard Ayibiowu graduated with a B.Sc. in Surveying Engineering from the University of Lagos. He worked in Map Data Services Limited, practicing his profession. Thereafter, he trained as an Accountant at Pricewaterhouse -Coopers and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

At Pricewaterhouse-Coopers, he was adjudged the best Manager in the manufacturing group of the firm.

He also acquired robust corporate experience at Arthur Andersen where he anchored the Enterprise Group of the famous accounting firm.

At present, he is the Head, Corporate Planning of Honeywell Group. He is responsible for the group business development, budget and budgetary planning and control, strategic planning, financial statements review and consolidation.

He has attended many courses locally and internationally.

A widely travelled man, he is also a member, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
